WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 523 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 37 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 7%. 280 active cases have recovered. This brings the number of active infections to 1665.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 76 people are now in the hospital. 30 of them are in the intensive care unit. There are 5 people from Curaçao still in the Aruban hospital. They are all in the intensive care unit.
Unfortunately, 3 have died making the total now 102 deaths. 2 died in the hospital and 1 in a nursing home.
