WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1493 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 431 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 29%. This brings the number of active infections to 3466. 63 active cases have recovered.
The current situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 103 people are now in the hospital. 34 of them are in the intensive care unit. This includes 1 person from Bonaire.
Unfortunately, 3 more have died making the total now 38 deaths. 2 died in the hospital and 1 in a nursing home.
