WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2844 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 590 of them were positive. 340 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 11,603.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 40 imported cases.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 48 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 14 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 3 persons have died, 2 in the hospital and 1 at home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 205.
