WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 3251 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 732 of them were positive. 222 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 4757
According to the epidemiology department, there were at least 59 imported cases. After more investigation, it became known that 2 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 28 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 8 patients are in the ICU.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 189.
