WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 3317 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 749 of them were positive. 273 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 8801.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 73 imported cases. After more investigation, it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 26 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 7 patients are in the ICU.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 193.
