WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 3589 people that were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 966 of them were positive. 203 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 8326.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 67 imported cases. After more investigation, it became known that 3 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 20 COVID-related patients are in the hospital. 6 patients are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 patient has died in the hospital.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 193.
