A new record: 409 new COVID-19 cases

WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao has reached a new record in the COVID-19 cases. No less than 409 new cases were recorded today by the epidemiology department. In their daily report, the epidemiology department indicates that they have tested 1417 people. 29 active cases have recovered.

This brings the total to 2021 active cases on the island.

The epidemiology department also indicates that 14 people have been admitted to the hospital, 2 were immediately sent to the intensive care unit. 7 people were discharged, 1 is from Bonaire.

This means that at this moment there are 56 people in the hospital and 15 of them are in the intensive care unit. Unfortunately, 1 more person has died. This brings the total to 28 deaths.
