WILLEMSTAD - The Inspector of Taxes announces the following. The digital tax return portal for submitting the final 2020 profit tax return will be available from 1 September 2021 for non-complex profit tax returns.
As of 1 September, the tax return portal is not yet ready for taxpayers who can allocate part of their profits abroad and who carry out one or more of the following activities:
Operates the financial business;
Operates the insurance business;
Operates the shipping and/or aviation business;
Conducts an activity in accordance with Article 15, fourth paragraph, of the National Ordinance on Profit Tax 1940.
For these taxpayers, the term for submitting the final 2020 profit tax return and payment will be extended to 31 December 2021.
For all other taxpayers who can submit their final profit tax return from September 1, 2021, the deadline for submission is September 30. These taxpayers can, if they wish further postponement, submit a request to the Inspector.
