ORANJESTAD - Aruba's financial integrity ranks second best in the region, according to the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force. This is reported by the Aruban Minister of Finance Xiomara Maduro.
According to Maduro, this reduces the risk of money laundering and terrorist financing. Aruba has been preparing since 2018 for the evaluation of the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force, which took place in August last year.
According to the minister, Aruba can be proud of the result. “This gives Aruba the confidence of financial institutions to continue to rely on banking facilities and international payments.”
