WILLEMSTAD - The Build Own Operate (BOO) power station is operating again and is also supplying electricity, steam and water to the refinery. On November 4, the power plant failed after a distribution station on the Isla site exploded and all Curaçao had to deal with a power outage for hours.
A research team is still investigating, as a result of which the safety systems did not work after a short circuit in the electricity grid.
