KINGSTON - The Curaçaoan Matthew Sophia has won the gold medal in the Boys Under-20 (17-20) 110 meter hurdles at the CARIFTA Games in Kingston, Jamaica.
Sophia finished with a time of 13.74. Following his victory, he told SportsMax: “This is a very exciting race, this race means a lot to me.”
His closest contender was Jamaica’s Demario Prince who secured silver with a time of 13.88, while bronze went to Antoine Andrews of The Bahamas who finished with a time of 13.91.
