WILLEMSTAD - On Friday, October 4, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Curaçao Investment & Export Promotion Agency (CINEX) and the University of Curaçao. Moises da Costa Gomez (UoC). This agreement was signed by the Rector Magnificus of the UoC Francis de Lanoy and the director of CINEX Ramon Koffijberg.
The Letter of Collaboration (LoC) describes the conditions and agreements between the parties mentioned to pursue their mutual interest to develop, facilitate and support their mutual interests in initiatives. This is achieved through proactive participation in creating a diverse service package that meets the needs of their stakeholders and by sharing mutual knowledge.
With the mission to accelerate more sustainable economic growth for both organizations, both parties are willing to join their efforts to increase investment opportunities and to attract and facilitate investors for the island of Curaçao.
The cooperation will take place in the following four areas:
I. promotion of Curaçao as an investment and educational platform;
II. informing and facilitating investors with highly skilled human capital;
III. promotion of innovative investment and education strategies and
IV. internships for UoC students.
