WILLEMSTAD - On Wednesday 17 August. the Council of Ministers has received the delegation of the Standing Committee on the Interior of the Dutch House of Representatives. This was a courtesy visit.

The Committee for the Interior is mainly concerned with subjects for which primary responsibility lies with the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The topics range from democracy and administrative organization to an honest and better performing government. In addition, the members of the committee often look after subjects in the field of General Affairs.
The delegation consisted of Mrs. Kiki Hagen (D66), Mrs. Salima Belhaj (D66), Mrs. Inge van Dijk (CDA), Mrs. Renske Leijten (SP), mr. Jess Klaver (GroenLinks), Mrs. Kati Piti (PvdA), Mr. Don Cedar (CU), Mrs. Marieke Koekkoek (Volt), Mrs. Sylvana Simons (BIJ1) and Mrs. Marienne Verhoev (Registrar).
Minister Charles Cooper, Minister Ornelio Martina, Minister Dorothy Pietersz-Janga, Minister Ruisandro Cijntje, Minister Shalten Hato and Minister Javier Silvania from the Council of Ministers were present.
