COVID-19 Update: “13 new cases reported on October 31, 2020”

WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 13 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 221 people were tested. 8 of these new cases are linked to known ones and the other 5 are still being investigated by the epidemiology team through contact tracing.

The epidemiology team indicates that that one of the active cases of yesterday had already tested positive in the past. The total active cases were adjusted today because of this small error.

5 active cases have recovered which brings the total active cases to 304.

Currently there are 5 people in the CMC hospital. 1 of them is still in intensive care.
