WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that 156 new COVID-19 cases were detected. This is the result after 841 people were tested. The epidemiology department has not been able to trace these infections to known ones.
13 active cases have recovered, and the total is now 879.
Currently, there are 11 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 4 are in intensive care. Additionally, there are 3 active cases from Bonaire in the hospital. 1 of them is in intensive care.
The number of deaths so far caused by the virus is 23.
