COVID-19 Update: “158 new cases reported on March 21, 2021”

WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that 158 new COVID-19 cases were detected. This is the result after 628 people were tested. The epidemiology department has not been able to trace these infections to known ones.

23 active cases have recovered, and the total is now 1,149.

Currently, there are 23 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms.  10 are in intensive care. Additionally, there are 4 active cases from Bonaire in the hospital. 2 of them are in intensive care.

The number of deaths so far caused by the virus is 24.
