WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that 163 new COVID-19 cases were detected. This is the result after 737 people were tested. The epidemiology department has not been able to trace these infections to known ones.
42 active cases have recovered, and the total is now 1,000.
Currently, there are 19 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 6 are in intensive care. Additionally, there is 1 more active case from Bonaire in the hospital. 2 of them are in intensive care.
The number of deaths so far caused by the virus is 23.
