WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 21 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 198 people were tested. 4 of these new cases are linked to known ones and the other 17 are still being investigated by the epidemiology team through contact tracing.
24 active cases have recovered which brings the total active cases to 273.
1 active case was recently admitted to the hospital but sadly this person passed away making it the second COVID-related death on the island. Currently, there are 5 people in the CMC hospital. 2 of them are in intensive care.
