COVID-19 Update: “27 new cases reported on December 20, 2020”

WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 27 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 280 people were tested. 9 of these cases are linked to known ones while the other 18 are still being investigated by the epidemiology team through contact tracing.

27 active case have recovered, and the total active cases remain at 1,660.

Currently there are 17 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 7 of them are in intensive care.

11 have died due to the virus.
