COVID-19 Update: “27 new cases reported on January 7, 2021”

WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 27 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 747 people were tested. At least 3 of these new cases are linked to know ones.

16 active case have recovered, and the total active cases are 908.

Currently there are 8 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 3 of them are in intensive care.

18 have died due to the virus. The last one has died in the hospital.
