COVID-19 Update: “32 new cases reported on December 22, 2020”

WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 32 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 354 people were tested. 3 of these cases are linked to known ones while the other 29 are still being investigated by the epidemiology team through contact tracing.

76 active case have recovered, and the total active cases remain at 1,635.

Currently there are 18 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 7 of them are in intensive care.

11 have died due to the virus.
