COVID-19 Update: “41 new cases reported on November 16, 2020”

WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 41 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 272 people were tested. 18 of these cases are linked to known ones, the other 23 are being investigated by the epidemiology team through contact tracing efforts.

1 active case have recovered which brings the total active cases to 467.

Currently there are 7 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 3 of them are in intensive care. 2 have died. After consultation with the laboratory, the epidemiology team has concluded that 2 patients that are in the hospital do not have COVID-19. The number has been adjusted.
