WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 56 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 510 people were tested. 11 of these cases are linked to known ones and the other 45 are still being investigated by the epidemiology team through contact tracing.
160 active case have recovered which brings the total active cases to 1,707.
Currently there are 17 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 5 of them are in intensive care.
11 have died due to the virus.
