WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 6 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 160 people were tested. 5 of these new cases are linked to known ones and the other 1 is still being investigated by the epidemiology team through contact tracing.
24 active cases have recovered which brings the total active cases to 277. After an investigation, the epidemiology team discovered that one of the positive cases was someone who tested positive before. This person was deducted from the total active cases.
Currently, there are 5 people in the CMC hospital. 2 of them is still in intensive care.
