WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 60 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 388 people were tested. 15 of these cases are linked to known ones, the other 45 are being investigated by the epidemiology team through their contact tracing efforts. After revising the numbers, it became known that one positive case was already registered and the correction was made to the total positive cases.
9 active case have recovered which brings the total active cases to 640.
Currently there are 13 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 3 of them are in intensive care. 3 have died.
