COVID-19 Update: “75 new cases reported on December 12, 2020”

WILLEMSTAD - The government of Curaçao reports that there are 75 new COVID-19 cases on the island. This is the result after 542 people were tested. 5 of these cases are linked to known ones. The other 70 are still being investigated by the epidemiology team through their contact tracing efforts.

70 active case have recovered which brings the total active cases to 1,858.

Currently there are 14 people in the CMC hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. 4 of them are in intensive care.

10 have died due to the virus.
