WILLEMSTAD - Fundashon Ambulans Deseo Korsou (FADK) has again fulfilled one last wish on Thursday. The foundation brought a seventy-year-old man to his old workplace at Fort Amsterdam.
The man worked more than fifty years ago in the Royal Navy and was charged with guarding the fort. After the visit to Fort Amsterdam, FADK and the man also drove past the naval barracks Suffisant and naval base Parera, where they were welcomed by various commanders.
It is the second wish that FADK has fulfilled in a short time for bedridden patients in Curaçao. The foundation currently uses a hired ambulance from the Catharina's Care Foundation until they have their own ambulance.
