WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao has passed the magical limit of one hundred thousand corona vaccinations last weekend. Our island owes the achievement of this milestone almost entirely to the vaccine from Pfizer and Moderna.
With the 100,000 vaccinations, it concerns the first injection administered. The number of fully vaccinated fluctuates around 91,000 vaccinations.
"Thanks to all of us, we have reached this milestone," the government said in a statement. Anyone who still wants to be vaccinated is called upon to register via www.bakuna.cw. "Let's try to reach the next milestone," the government writes.
On Saturday and Wednesday people can go to the vaccination center Sehos Poli (old hospital) for a Pfizer shot. People who want to be vaccinated with Moderna can go on Tuesday and Friday.
The vaccination center is open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Making an appointment is not necessary, but it is recommended.
