Curaçao Urges Citizens in the Middle East to Register Amid Ongoing Conflict

Main news | By Press release June 20, 2025

WILLEMSTAD – In light of the ongoing armed conflict between Israel and Iran, the government of Curaçao is calling on all Curaçaoan nationals currently in the Middle East to register their whereabouts. Since Israel’s airstrike on Iran on June 13, both countries have been engaged in near-daily aerial attacks, further deteriorating the security situation in the region. The situation is currently considered extremely unsafe and unpredictable.

Curaçao’s government is closely monitoring developments and advises all residents currently in Israel, Iran, or any other country in the region to register through the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs' information service: https://informatieservice.nederlandwereldwijd.nl
