Face masks requirement disappears, events allowed again

Main news | By Correspondent March 8, 2022

WILLEMSTAD - As of today, wearing a face mask is only mandatory in hospitals, care homes and public transport. Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas announced this during the Report of the Day.

Business owners can decide for themselves whether they make wearing a face mask mandatory in their shop or catering business. In addition, all restrictions for organizing events and activities will disappear. Pisas warns visitors to adhere to basic measures.

From next Thursday, March 10, tourists no longer need to test to enter Curaçao, only filling in the PLC form is still mandatory. Passengers of cruise ships or private yachts do not have to be tested either.
