Main news | By Correspondent December 9, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - According to the registrations that took place in November this year, the Minister of Justice has decided to organize another repatriation flight to Venezuela in the month of December. There are various Venezuelans who are currently here due to several factors but who would like to return to their country. There are also Venezuelans detained who are waiting to be deported after they entered the island illegally.

Currently there are no commercial flights between Curaçao and Venezuela that could facilitate them the return to their country.

For this reason, the Minister of Justice is consulting with the Venezuelan Consulate to be able to organize the humanitarian flight on December 21.

Tickets will be for sale until December 13 at 4 pm at Curaçao Handling Agent which is located in the Pietermaai Parking Mall. These tickets are 157 dollars each, airport tax not included. For this flight there are 100 seats available.

It is required to take a PCR test 48 hours before the flight. The result of the test must be negative.
