WILLEMSTAD - In connection with the elections for the Parliament of Curaçao on March 19, 2021, the Governor of Curaçao, Mrs. L.A. George-Wout, started this morning, Saturday, March 20, with the consultations for the formation of a new cabinet.
This morning, the Chairman of the Electoral Council, Mr. R. Römer, presented the preliminary results of the elections to the Governor. After this, the consultations started with the vice-chairman of the Advisory Board, Mrs. L. Dindial, the Minister of State, Mr. J. Saleh, the chairman of Parliament, Mrs. A.M. Pauletta, the outgoing Prime Minister, Mr. E.P. Rhuggenaath, a delegation from the Social Economic Council (SER) and a delegation from the Council of Churches.
From Monday, March 22, the Governor will consult the leaders of the six political parties of Curaçao who, based on the election results of March 19, have acquired one or more seats in the Parliament.
