WILLEMSTAD - It has rained a lot in recent hours. Quantities of up to nearly 30 millimeters were measured. The Meteorological Service (Meteo) expects more rain in the coming hours in the eastern and central part of Curaçao. Tomorrow there will be a smaller chance of showers.
The Meteo collected the figures of the measured rainfall up to and including 8 o'clock this morning. In the vicinity of Hato 16.7 mm fell, in Onverwacht 15 mm, Klein Kwartier 26.6 mm, Seinpost 28.4 mm, Spaanse Water 19.4 mm, Steenrijk 34.6 mm, Biesheuvel 11.3 mm, St. Maria 21.4 mm, Soto 20.2 mm, Sumbu 20.4 mm and in Van Engelen 17.7 mm.
The Meteo expects even more clouds and rain activity over this region in the coming hours. Tonight and tomorrow the chance of showers will gradually diminish. Furthermore, the wind is expected to gradually increase.
The expected maximum temperature is 29 ̊C and the minimum temperature 24 ̊C.
