WILLEMSTAD - The International Civil Aviation Organization will conduct an audit at the airport in September.
The organization looks at the civil aviation authority, air traffic control, the building of the airport and the handling of passengers.
A good result is critical to eventually get the important category 1 status of the Federal Aviation Administration, FAA, which Curaçao lost almost ten years ago.
