THE HAGUE - King Willem-Alexander spoke on Tuesday by video connection with the governors of Aruba and Curaçao. He was informed by Governor Boekhoudt of Aruba and Governor George-Wout of Curaçao about current events and developments in their countries.
The king regularly receives the governors of the Caribbean part of the Kingdom to catch up. Because unnecessary travel is discouraged due to the corona virus, these conversations took place by video in the past year.
This included the measures taken to prevent the spread of the corona virus in Aruba and Curaçao.
