WILLEMSTAD - The MFK party calls on the Public Prosecution Service (OM) to take action against the insults and threats against Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas. Amerigo Thode says in a statement that he is disappointed that nothing has been done against these accusations so far.
According to the MFK faction leader in parliament, there are many insulting posts about Pisas on social media. “These people set a bad example for the youth of how the community treats politicians,” Thode said. “In addition, everything they write is wrong.”
Thode is disappointed that no action is being taken by the Public Prosecution Service against the statements made against the prime minister. "It's even worse that there are entities like the Public Prosecution Service that have to enforce the law and do nothing against these kinds of violations." By not acting, according to Thode, the insults appear to be approved.
“The MFK wants to make it very clear to everyone that insults or threats our prime minister will not be accepted under any circumstances,” the political leader concluded. “We are once again calling on the Public Prosecution Service to take action.”
