WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Economic Development (MEO) Ruisandro Cijntje will accompany Queen Maxima on a business trip to California and Texas. The minister is part of the delegation that will visit San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Houston.
The business trip will take place from September 6 to 9 and is intended to give substance to the economic relationship between the Kingdom and the United States of America. In addition to Cijntje, the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade Liesje Schreinemacher also travels with the Queen.
During the visit, various themes will be discussed, including transatlantic cooperation and climate change. According to the ministry, it is important that Cijntje participates in the trip, so that Curaçao as a member of the Kingdom can continue to strengthen working relationships.
