THE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD - Dutch Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen of Infrastructure and Water Management will pay a working visit to Curaçao next Monday, July 12. She then leaves for Bonaire and concludes her journey in Aruba.
In Curaçao, the Dutch minister has a meeting with the governor and her counterpart Minister Charles Cooper. She will also visit Hato Airport and DC-ANSP, the organization that is responsible for air traffic control for Bonaire and Curaçao.
At the end of the day, van Nieuwenhuizen leaves for Bonaire, where she has a meeting with the Executive Council and the acting Kingdom Representative. She also visits the airport on Bonaire.
On Wednesday 14 July, the minister will give the go-ahead for the construction of the Galileo Sensor Station for the European global satellite navigation system Galileo. The European Commission has chosen Bonaire as the location for the installation of this station in the Caribbean.
The working visit will conclude in Aruba, where Van Nieuwenhuizen will meet Minister Romero of Transport, Communication and Primary Sector.
