Main news | By Correspondent April 29, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - The parties MFK and PNP plan to sign the coalition agreement around 3 pm on Friday. The chairman of the MFK, Sithree van Heydoorn, announced this on Wednesday.

The parties have always aimed to finalize a coalition agreement before the end of the month. According to Van Heydoorn, the parties are on track with the agreement. It is clear, however, that the new government cannot take office on May 11, as the parties had long intended. This has to do with the screening. According to Van Heydoorn, the screening of the new formateur Chester Peterson alone took almost two weeks. All candidate-ministers have yet to be screened.

A credible source disclosed that the list of candidate-ministers is as follows:

Prime Minister and General Affairs: Gilmar Pisas

Minister Finance: Javier Silvanie

Minister di Economic Development: Ramon Chong

Minister di Justice: Eduard Braam

Minister di Transport, Traffic and Spatial Planning: Charles Cooper

Minister di Government Policy, Planning and Service: Ornelio Kid Martina

Minister di Public Health, Environment and Nature: Dorothy Janga

Minister di Education, Sports and Science: Sithree van Heydoorn

Minister di Social Development, Labor and Welfare: Ruthmilda Larmonie
