New corona measures: curfew and up to 100 guests

WILLEMSTAD - The government announced the new corona measures during a press conference this afternoon.

From Friday, August 13, there will be a curfew from 00:00 to 04:30. No more than 100 people are allowed to gather at activities and meetings. High risk activities are not allowed.

Catering establishments are also not allowed to receive more than 100 guests. Visitors must be able to keep enough distance from each other. Businesses must be closed at least one hour before the curfew begins. Truki pans (BBQ trucks) are allowed to open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Visitors to beach clubs must keep a distance of 2 meters from each other. Here too, a maximum of 100 guests may be present. Dancing and loud music are not allowed. All visitors must register upon entry.

The maximum number of guests also applies to funerals and boats. Recreational boats and charter boats must adhere to the same rules. People on the boat must have 3.5 square meters of space.

The new measures will be evaluated in 3 weeks.
