New list of safe countries

WILLEMSTAD - The government has released an updated list of safe countries. This concerns countries that are designated as low-risk areas and medium-risk areas. Travelers from these countries do not have to go into mandatory quarantine in Curaçao. They are, however, obliged to do a PCR test from medium-risk countries and to fill in a Passenger Locater Card from low-risk countries.

Sint Maarten has been removed from the new list, so the borders are in principle closed with this island. Spain is also off the list.

Taiwan and Uruguay have been added as medium risk countries. The Netherlands also still belongs to this group.

Passengers from countries not listed must go into a mandatory 14 day quarantine upon arrival in Curaçao.
