WILLEMSTAD - The party council of coalition partner PNP will meet on Wednesday about a new candidate-minister for the Ministry of Economic Development.
The ministerial post is currently held by party leader, deputy prime minister and also minister of SOAW Ruhtmilda Larmonie-Cecilia. Prime Minister Pisas' cabinet had to take office without two ministers because Ramon Chong, among others, did not pass the screening procedure. Chong would lead the Ministry of Economy on behalf of the PNP. Although some candidates are mentioned in the corridors, the party does not want to disclose names.
