Pisas agrees with country package under COHO

WILLEMSTAD - The Pisas government also agrees with the country package that has been presented by the Netherlands in exchange for liquidity support.

Its implementation would be taken up by COHO, the Caribbean Agency for Reform and Development, but Curaçao wants to renegotiate this. According to the Minister of Finance Javier Silvania, Curaçao would like to see an international expert, maybe from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), to be part of the COHO and not only three Dutch appointees.

The Curaçao country package monitors economic reforms, healthcare and education, government and finance and strengthening the rule of law.
