WILLEMSTAD - Former minister Rutsel Martha and lawyer Chester Peterson will be the informateurs in the process to form the second government headed by Gilmar Pisas. Yesterday it was announced that political parties Movementu Futuro Kòrsou (MFK) and Partido Nashonal di Pueblo (PNP) have signed a declaration of willingness. Both parties want to work together in a government.
MFK won the election with nine seats, PNP took four seats. Together they account for a majority in parliament. The informateur examines which parties can and want to form a new cabinet together and which problems must be overcome.
MFK leader Gilmar 'Pik' Pisas says they have nominated Martha and Peterson and they will most likely be ordered by the governor to form a cabinet.
Pisas does not know whether his party will collaborate with more parties, as stated in the declaration of willingness. He claims that he has no problem relinquishing a ministerial post, but cannot guarantee that it will come to that.
KEM by Michelangelo Martines and Trabou pa Korsou by Rennox Calmes are mentioned as possible coalition partners
