WILLEMSTAD - Recently Mrs. Tania Kross, ambassador of Het Leerorkest, paid a visit to the Governor of Curacao, H.E. Lucille George Wout. Ms. Kross also explained the plans of Het Leerorkest on the Caribbean islands of the Kingdom.
The Leerorkest offers children in primary schools the opportunity to become acquainted with musical instruments by making these available to them. It ensures that the children can enjoy music education in their own schools. Experience shows that this has a positive effect on the general learning performance of children, while also promoting their general skills.
