WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature will also take action against those responsible for the destruction on the coastline of Curaçao near Pietermaai and Jeremi.
The ministry of minister Dorothy Pietersz-Janga, together with the ministry of colleague Charles Cooper of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP), will analyze both incidents separately.
During the construction of the promenade behind Scuba Lodge, nature organization Carmabi will advise on the possible damage to marine life. Based on this, the ministry can take steps against those responsible for the destruction.
Also at Jeremi Ocean Resort, where a lot owner has cut a large piece out of the rock face, the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature is going to investigate the environmental damage. This is done together with VVRP and the General Pension Fund Curaçao, APC, which owns the land.
