WILLEMSTAD - Today is the deadline for the takeover candidates for the Isla refinery to submit a non-binding proposal. The Director of the Curaçao Refinery De Lannoy expects proposals from five parties. Names have not yet been announced.
If all goes well, a letter of intent can be signed with candidates in September, a choice is made in October, and can be signed in November after negotiations. The PdVsa contract expires at the end of this year.
