THE HAGUE - The Committee on Kingdom Relations in the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament is not satisfied with the outcome of the debate with Minister Wouter Koolmees of Social Affairs and the Undersecretaries Mona Keijzer of Economic Relations and Raymond Knops of Kingdom Relations about poverty in the Caribbean Netherlands.
That is why there will be a so-called two-minute debate tomorrow. This gives political factions the opportunity to submit motions to get the ministers to take action where they refused to do so in the committee debate.
Members of Parliament Jorien Wuite (D66), Attje Kuiken (PvdA), Joba van den Berg (CDA), Laura Bromet (GroenLINks), Don Ceder (ChristenUnie) and Machiel de Graaf (PVV) have registered as speakers.
Motions are also expected to be submitted in response to the committee debates on corona support for Curaçao, Aruba and Sint Maarten and the restoration of local democracy on Sint Eustatius.
