WILLEMSTAD - The previously reported orange code is not yet in effect. The Meteorological Service (Meteo) reported Monday evening that code orange might come into effect on Tuesday, but this is not yet the case.
The disturbance is currently over 1000 kilometers southeast of the islands and has a 90 percent chance of developing into a tropical storm in the next 5 days. This storm is expected to pass south of Curaçao in the night from Wednesday to Thursday.
The Meteo warns of loose objects that could fly around, the influence on the steering power while driving and local flooding.
