China has been one of the countries that has helped the tyranny of Nicolás Maduro the most to stay on its feet
WASHINGTON -The United States sanctioned the Chinese state-owned company CEIEC on Monday, accusing it of restricting internet service in Venezuela and carrying out digital surveillance and cyber operations against political opponents of Nicolás Maduro's tyranny.
The Treasury Department said in a statement that Ceiec was blacklisted by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) "for supporting the efforts of the illegitimate Maduro regime to undermine democracy in Venezuela."
